Our latest orbit with durable body, strong casings, a limited lifetime warranty, and multiple chip compatibility! Sure, there are a lot of choices out there but we wanted to be different... again! Our orbit features a durable uni-body design available in clear or black, matching light housings, and an unbeatable limited lifetime warranty. The housings are compatible with most of the popular orbiting chips and our design allows you to flip the direction of the LED either inward or outward. Because the light housings are independent of the body, you can also purchase additional chip housings and have a half black, half clear orbit... you know, get fancy. ;)
So why'd you call it ALPHA?
Despite the rumors, we were the first to invent a flat, disc-shaped "orbit" that sandwiched LED lights together. Check out our patent application from 2011:
https://www.google.com/patents/US20120320590 (See Figures 6, 7A, and 7B)
Unfortunately, we didn't have access to 3D printing back in those days and weren't able to release products as soon as we thought of the ideas. Now that we do have the capability, we plan on putting more time into making our past and future ideas into a reality. ALPHA is the beginning.
Here's the deal...
1 x Extremely durable ALPHA body (choice of black or clear)
4 x Extremely durable matching housings (also fits Aether, Kinetic, ArcLite, etc.)
4 x Galaxy chips for those housings
8 x CR1620 batteries (installed)
2 x Satin cords (color of your choice)
*If you want to use your existing Galaxy chips or other compatible chips, you can purchase just the body and housings here: https://www.orbitlightshow.com/collections/alpha-orbit-parts
The Galaxy chips sit inside the two-piece housings, and the housings are then pushed into the orbit body. No messing around with screws! That's getting old.
We designed this orbit with extra durability and easy battery changes in mind. Other orbits (even our very own original Galaxy orbit, sorry!) feature a two-piece body design and pesky little screws which make changing batteries or swapping out different LED chips a bit tedious. Are you really going to carry a screw driver or an allen-wrench on you when you're out orbiting? Yah yah, nah...
We are giving ALPHA customers a LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY on the plastic housings. That's right! If the orbit body or housings break, simply mail them back to us and we will send you replacements for FREE. Just make sure you send it back using a shipping service with a delivery tracking number. Email us your tracking number. You are buying this orbit for a lifetime.

How to program:
Simply click once to turn on the light. Each single click changes to the next mode. When you find the mode you want to change the colors on, simply press and hold until it turns to low-power blue. You are now in programming mode.
Now click until you see your desired color. Press and hold down to see the three brightness levels for that color. Simply release the button on the brightness you want. You have just programmed your first color and brightness for that mode! Now, you can program the low-power blue to end programming or simply click through to the next color. You can program up to 6 colors for each mode.
Remember: You can program a BLANK instead of a color to add a space. You can get creative by adding multiple BLANK spaces to extend the strobe frequency. The BLANK counts as 1 of the 6 colors.
When you are done programming, your colors and brightness will be saved in memory even if you remove the batteries.
How to do a master reset (return to factory defaults):
In the off position. Press and hold the power button down for about 5 seconds. The chip will then blink 3 times to confirm that all memory banks have been reset. The chip will then turn off and back on with the factory colors.
Turning off the chip:
When you are done using the light, press and hold down for 1 second to turn it off.
